Chapter 3

Ron' P. O. V

It has become my habit to go to the banyan tree and wait for her. Austin and my grandma knows about this. My parents live abroad... they didn't know much about it.

Sometimes Austin ask me to stop going there. He says that she forget about me, since that happened when I was in junior high school, but I remember that day clearly. It's like that I have rewind the whole scene in my memory every time I came here.

I am crying under the tree

"Why you are crying " Ria asked me.

"Because you are leaving me behind and I have no friend besides you. Please don't leave me" I said.

"Don't worry I will surely return to you and when I grow up I'll ask you to marry me" Ria said while wiping my tears.

"Stupid boys propose to the girl . So I will ask you about marrying me not you" saying this we started laughing.

"Ok when we grow up I'll wait for your proposal. Now don't worry I will return from my grandma's house when next session starts" she said "I'll wait for you here under this tree...promise"

"I'll wait for you" I said waving my hands and she nodded her head too

Since then I have came here after every session ends. It becomes my daily habit to come here and wait for her. But she never returns.

Will she recognize me when she returns because I didn't get the chance to tell her my name. I want to tell her that I am Ronnie Smith whom she helped from being bullied.

Will she remember this place because it changes drastically in these years?

Is she also waiting for me like I am waiting for her?

What will happen if I found that she had a boyfriend or a husband?

This questions always came in mind when I come here but deep in my heart i believe that she will come to me.

I was busy thinking about Ria but suddenly that my phone rings. I m going to cut it off but then I saw the caller id, it's Daniel that i***t.

'Oh f**k I was supposed to pick up his sister from the airport but some how I forgot about it'

"Yes Daniel say what's the matter. Why you are calling me now" I asked him but deep inside I know the reason behind it.

"Boss you betrayed me"

"What" I yelled at him.

"Yes boss I attend the seminar in place of you because you promised me that you will pick up my sister but you left her at the airport" he started nagging."She returned to London after many years and she doesn't recognize this place well because it changed"

"She is going to cut off my head boss please save me. She said that she will come to the hospital on Monday. Please save me boss. At least give me a day off on Monday" he said in a single breathe.

"Ok do one thing, draw the pictures of the whole anatomy book. In this way you will get a holiday and your assignment will also get done" I replied.

"Boss this is not done" he started crying.

"Ok I'll help you this time because it's my fault too but this will be the last time. Remember that. "

"Thank you boss "

'Who is Daniel's sister whom he feared more than me' I thought.
