CHAPTER TWO IT WAS TWO DAYS LATER THAT MONA FINALLY summonded up the courage to leave the house. Frank had left a number of books home and asked her to return them to the law library. She had of course said that she would-but she knew what would happen. Travis Bland would have talked, of course, bragged, "Did you hear what I did to Mona Durham? Yeah, that's right, Frank's wife.
