Realm of the forgotten

Chapter 2

Carly POV;

I walk up to the entrance of the school trying to find Richard when I spot him near the tuckshop before the rugby field talking to his friends.

I make my way over to him smiling as he notice me coming. He smiles back at me while I came to stand in front of him.

"Hi Love" I said giving him a hug and a peck on his lips.

"Hi my Love" he said while hugging me back and kissing me.

"How are you? He asked.

"I'm fine just a bit nervous" I said feeling my throat being a bit tight from being so nervous.

"Don't be nervous, you should be excited my love" he said with smile.

"I know but I can't help feeling this way" I said with a bit of attitude.

"i know love, but try to relax, and by the way should you not go to where your class is?" he asked looking at where my classmates are standing and waiting to go down the rugby field.

"oh yeah, okay I'm going I'll see you after the ceremony? I asked looking up at him smiling.

"Yes you will love" he said giving me a kiss before I went to where the rest of my class are waiting.

I gave him a kiss back and went to where my classmates are standing. We waited for about 10 minutes then they announced that all the students and guest need to take their seat on the rugby field where chairs have be place in front of a make up stage.

We went down and took our seat and waited for the principle to come up to stage to do her speech. I turned around in my seat to looked for where Richard and my family were sitting, spotting them a few rows from me and all sitting together. I gave them a little wave and saw them waving back.

The Principle walked onto the stage and started the ceremony.

"Good evening to all student and parents. We are here to celebrate all of these students achievements and hard work. After tonight they will embark on a new journey full with knowledge and aspirations and continued success." the Principle said.

After the speech, they started announcing the students name and giving their certificates. Obviously my group is last.

Then it was my groups turn to receive our certificates...
