"Now that I think about it, it's going to take a while for the blade to be made," he said while thinking about something.
"Hey, you're getting too worked up on this all of a sudden. You can take it slow...," I patted on his arm.
"No, I should have thought about this sooner. You actually need to protect yourself. I mean, I was planning on teaching you combat, but I thought we could start after a year or two. But it was a stupid thought. Dangers won't stay still till a year or two," he said. "When I'm not near, you need to at least manage to escape."
