Third person’s pov       Mikayla walked away and murmured in monotone to her parents “it’s hard to find them”.        Chin trembling, she opened the door of her room and entered it. She smiled weakly at Amelia who was sitting there staring at her.        Mikayla walked forward and slouched on the chair in front of the window.        Her heart thumped like a drum in her chest. Five years. Five years she had laughed at Flynn’s inane jokes and Alex’s cuteness, picked up their dirty socks, and listened to her husband’s snore while her son sang all night.        She remembered every memory she had with them.
