CHAPTER 8(Two identity√)

1072 Words
"Okay, love you!" She then hangs up the phone. I'm not sure why I'm doing this. Nothing comes to mind. I'm simply bored. And, as I already stated, revealing her true identity is thrilling. Very nice! No, no, I'm not out for revenge. I just want to give her a taste of what she was attempting to inflict on others. Just because of what she said to me yesterday in the cafeteria? Tsk, tsk That doesn't bother me in the least, and what about that stinking blog? For the time being, I'll put it aside. I'm in desperate need of a break. Isabel rises from the bench and begins to walk out of the plaza when she is stopped. Vince Bandino, who is also in our class, is known as Vinchi. "Alex..." "Tsk, don't call me Alex. Okay?" “Oh, ok... sorry…” he scratches the back of his neck. He's a strong guy who also happens to be the class clown. He's never gotten anxious in front of a girl before. And, of all people, with Isabel. "I had hoped to offer you something." On his hand, there's a little thing. "You—I'm sure you're aware that I've adored you since we were children. "Wow, there's a confession moment. It's like if I'm watching a movie; the only thing missing is popcorn. Isabel, on the other hand, refuses to accept it." "Yes, indeed! Women like myself were not destined to live in poverty! I'm classy. And, yes, I want to die wealthy." She then goes away, leaving him heartbroken. Isabel's words make my lip twitch into a grin. Not destined for a life of poverty? Make sure you don't make me laugh! Meanwhile, Vince tosses his present on the ground and flees the square. Isn't it excruciating? Knowing that someone dislikes you since the sentiment isn't reciprocated. I rise to accept the gift he cast aside. A keychain with an angel. I'm curious what you'd do if they knew everything, Isabel. ….. "Babe!" It was Louie, I guess. "Babe!" I'm guessing it was Louie. "Hey, babe!" He gives Isabel a kiss on her cheek before wrapping his arm over her shoulders. They take a seat and place their food orders. Louis is a top university engineering student. It's simple to assume he comes from a well-to-do family. I performed some preliminary research. I may appear to be a stalker, but I'm bored. This is why I do the things that I do. I wouldn't get caught anyhow since I'm right behind them, and I can hear everything they're saying. In a coffee shop, similar to what I imagined for her future. "Your birthday is approaching, darling. Do you have any plans?" Isabel enquiries. "Hmm...holding mom's party, and I decided now would be a good time to introduce you to them." "Yeah babe, they wanted a formal party. So, I hope you'll get ready for that night. Wear your classy outfit okay?" "Y-yeah, of course I'm coming. I don't wanna miss dinner with you. A-and your family." She smiled widely but I could see through her eyes. She was nervous. She'll do anything...even maintain a fake identity order for elite society to accept her. Alexi, I feel sorry for you. I, on the other hand, have nothing to do with you. After all, it's your decision. The next day... I hope you're prepared for how cruel the world can be. I walk out of the café. …. Finally, Even for just one day, I am not in the spotlight. I managed to walk through most of the corridor in peace today. But here it is. I stop walking because the rest of the corridor is clogged with people. They're crowding over one picture tacked on the freedom board. A picture of a girl exiting a club. I feel a slight chill. This is the future I saw. I force my way through the crowd straight to the entrance of the classroom. The sliding door suddenly opens, and out comes Isabel, crying hysterically and running past me until I can't see her anymore. I knew this would come. "Lorie, the class is about to start." It's Miss Mathilda holding her class record. I didn't see her come to my side. She was so fast. "You're not even going to try following her?" I say, not looking at her. She hesitates before answering. "I think we have to leave her alone for a while." She says and enters the classroom. Weird, shouldn't she go after her? Or maybe she's not that passionate about her job. Inside the classroom, I know there's a big commotion, but everyone acts normal when Miss Mathilda starts her class. I sneak a glance at Vince before taking my seat. He is staring into nothingness, looking like all life has gone out of him. …. I hear someone sobbing. I follow the sound and find her. Huh, so the Geographic section is not only for PDA teens but also for crying babies. I lean against the book rack of the library while reading. "Nothing's going to happen if you're just going to sit there and cry. To be hated, it's the worst feeling, huh." "I did that because-" "Of that guy?" I laugh softly. "So you could be accepted into high society? So you could have lots of friends? So you could be loved by all? You played the part of someone rich and wealthy because you were afraid. But no matter what façade you put up, you're still nothing in their eyes.” "Wrong...everything they're saying is wrong," she says weakly between sobs. "So you're making excuses for me to believe you? Not everyone has an open mind to understand someone like you, Isabel. There are a few things in this world that only you would know...and your whole life, you'll be the only one who could understand." Like my situation. …. "You took that photo, right?" | surprise Vince when I sit next to him. He is alone on a bench in the plaza. "How ironic." "She deserves what she got." He smiles as he says this, but his voice is full of resentment. "Stupid." I handed him the keychain that he threw away yesterday. "Because your love is not reciprocated, you dare to do that." I stand,"If that was all it took, then you have no right to love anunnaileave him.
