CHAPTER 7(List√)

1133 Words
“Lorie, wait… wait….” I slow down. Wait, he is still following me? “Ah, I sincerely apologize.” With his head dangling, Llyod said. “However, as you already know, I would never do such a thing to you. I see everything on the list, too.” He was referring to the blog, of course. “You are aware that I owe you before. Yet I would never do something like that to you after you rejected me,” he says shyly. “And I'm happy right now.” Yes, absolutely. He and Angeline rekindled their relationship. He also looks to be in fantastic health right now. His joy is seen in his eyes. “Good. Good for you.” I said and left. So I should x Llyod on my list. Three down. As I said. He was a nice guy. He wouldn't do that to me. Next, Rain Imperial. Here we go. He was editor-in-chief of the GiftedS. He was the opposite of Llyod, but he was popular at the campus just like Marky. I really didn't like this guy in the first place. He is always wearing his latest and expensive camera around his neck. He's the stalker type so he probably had a high chance for this mess. We met at the Valentine's day promo. And an idea for a club to cook up. You know. Intrams. You can get an anonymous number of soulmates for that day, yes, something like that. Like what I always said. That guy got me and I'm so unlucky. “Hello, sweetheart.” “Who’s this?” “Guess who.” “Okay.” I'm about to hang up my phone when he stopped me. “Wait! I got your number.” “And so?” “I think we're soulmates.” “Bye.” Then I hung up. He was just nearby. Wearing a white earphones and leaning on the wall. I thought of an idea to stop him. Why? Obviously he's stalking me. He was obsessed with being a stalker, I mean, he was a journalist. He might think that I am a new target to put on the newspaper. I walked by him, good thing I have this power. “Hey, Lorie right? Let's go to Mriku.” he said while he watched me pass. “Sure.” I lied. I have no intention to see him at the Mriku. “Good. 5 pm. See you around.” “Ok.” I didn't go to Mriku, so he waited for me for a long time. He didn't get what he wanted. He Didn't get to make an article about me. But instead. He wrote about how I made him wait at the Mriku. But wait, that asshole added how he hurt about what I did. That's when the post of the freedom board started. Before. You'll never know that the freedom wall exists. That's how I became famous every single day. “Are you looking for someone?” a voice behind me said, it is the correspondent of the newspaper proper. There doesn't seem to be anyone else. I notice as I stand by the entrance. “Our office has been inactive since the boss is still absent.” “Absent?” “Yes, based on his letter. He was sick.” “How long?” “He has already stayed in the hospital for one week. All our work will also stop without him.” I guess he's not the reason behind this. That one day the blog updated and for sure he couldn't do that while he was in the hospital. I Cross him out. This frustrates me. The more I kick out somebody in my list. The more it is hard to find who's behind this. There are so many people who dislike me, which one could it be? I look at my list. Logan Lothian Sy. But I should proceed tomorrow. This day is too much for me. … 7:45 pm. It is already deep into the night. The dark sky was filled by a dark cloud. But inside the building it's bright like sunshine. Hush club. I'm standing in front of the wooden door of this club. Well there she is. Tamara standing near the entrance of what club I said. Well, there she is. She has only just exited the main door with a middle-aged woman. "Here" The woman hands her a little envelope that's nearly bursting with its contents. I wonder how much money is in there? They exchange a few more words before the woman who seems like the owner of this establishment goes back inside. She only peeks into the envelope before hiding it in her bag. She starts to walk away. Her makeup is thick, and she's wearing a tube dress. I was surprised too. Who would've known that this princess had a dirty job. Smirk. Alexis Isabel Sy. You played well. But I can get along. …. "Look guys! I already bought it!" Isabel proudly takes a box from her bag and lets her friends see it. They each had their own reactions, but they allwere losing their minds over whatever Isabel had showed them. It's already past dismissal time, but Ithought I would stay here for a while in the student plaza. I am watching them from a swing not far fromthe bench they are sitting on. "You- just - bought this cell phone yesterday?"someone asks. "I was going to give it to Louie. It's almost his birthday" is Isabel's answer to them. "Omg, that's right! I'm sure he'll love it!" "Oh, I'm sure he will." "Alex, you're really the best!" "Yeah, I can't believe you would buy something this expensive for him." "Don't worry, next time I'll treat you guys," says Isabel gamely. Her smile never wavers. I wonder; What's behind that smile? Anyone who sees me right now must think I'm crazy.I'm smiling by myself, holding onto the chains of the swing. They'll think I have an imaginary friend. Let's just say that it's really amusing to see a person who's pretending to be someone she's not. I know the truth everyday is a lie. Everything she says is a big lie and that's funny. Knowing this, I didn't want to know any of that. Through her eyes, it was revealed to me what was waiting for her in the future. How pathetic. What would happen if everyone knew who she truly was? That Alex Isabel is a filthy rich princess. This is exciting. "Alex, we have to go home. Bye." "Ok, see you tomorrow. I still have to call Louie." they wave at each other, then she picks her phone, "Hello? Babes? Let's meet later, please? Ok."
