Was this a whole new side to Henry Joanne wondered as she sat, a little cramped and a touch nervous in the front passenger seat of the Beetle. He was a strange sort of man, she thought, gawky, a touch untidy, and with a fairly unruly mop of brown hair and a twisted smile. But he wasn’t too bad looking when he put his suit on, as he had now and made some effort to look his best. But Henry being masterful and taking charge that was a whole new animal Joanne thought, smiling as she listened to the throaty roar of the engine and felt all the bumps as his little car jogged and jumped along a country road.
