Slowly, Henry stretched out and carefully felt the soft, rich fabric of the bed sheets and pillow with his fingers. The warmth of the sheets surrounded his entire body as he poked his toes against the fabric at the very bottom of the bed. He took a deep breath of contentment and exhaled breath luxuriously. It was a cold afternoon outside so the luxury of the bed was especially comforting. Joanne stirred momentarily next to him and stretched her legs downward as he had done but without reaching the bottom of the bed. Henry sighed contentedly.
‘I’m not sure I’m in the mood to make love,’ Joanne sighed softly.
‘Oh, no problem,’ Henry protested. ‘We can just lie here for a while.’
