Chapter 40: Combat System 29
The combat challenge is drawing to an end and the saddest aspect stares us starkly in the face; only a lone survivor will see the next day. Our lives are at risk of ending today and with that reality in mind combatants have upped their abilities, sharpened their skills, and refined their approach to the challenge. The day has been cut into more than half and we have the mandate to finish up an hour earlier than the past days for the coronation to take place which cannot wait till the next day for once the jewels are complete on the crown the powers can’t be restrained until deposited into the metaphysical nature of the victor and down to his entire being to transform him to a super-being with supreme powers.
