I sat at the dining table, still reeling from the events of the day. My mind was a whirlwind of emotions... confusion, fear, curiosity... all swirling together as I watched Lucas and Cassian move around in the kitchen. It was strange seeing them like this, two ancient beings casually preparing dinner as if we were just any normal group of people sharing a meal. Lucas shot me a glance, his gray eyes softening. “You haven’t said much. Are you alright?” I exhaled slowly, rubbing my temples. “I don’t know. I feel like the ground beneath me has completely shifted, and I have no idea where I stand anymore.” Cassian leaned against the counter, arms crossed. “That’s understandable. We just confirmed that your entire existence has been tied to a curse spanning lifetimes. It’s a lot to take in.”
