“Have you seen the viral video yet? It’s all over the internet right now—it happened today,” Jessica said, her voice filled with urgency.
“What video?” Sophia asked, her curiosity piqued.
“Here, let me show you,” Jessica replied, handing her phone to Sophia.
Ella and a few others gathered around Sophia to watch the video, but I stayed at my desk, focused on reviewing the presentation I had prepared for a client.
I took a sip from my tumbler, glancing briefly at the screen as I continued scrolling through my notes.
“Oh my gosh!” Sophia gasped, her voice tinged with disbelief. “It doesn’t look like an accident at all. He deliberately accelerated and slammed his car right into the school!”
