Wake Me Up Mate

Chapter 14

Hunter's POV

The most intoxicating smell invaded my nose and I looked to the door 'Mate is behind the door.' Roy said to me and I nodded to him 'She smells of cherry blossom and rain' I said to him and he nodded back at me. "Alpha you have to get some rest" Cat said to me and I rolled my eyes at her. Cat is one of the she-wolf nurses in the pack hospital. She is the youngest. She is trying her hardest to get better at what she loves. "I know that Cat but I also need you to help me set up then go get that door for me" I said to her smiling as she finished checking the machine that I was hooked up to. Once she was done she walked to the door and opened it, and the smell of cherry blossom and rain got a lot stronger. Cat stepped to the side and I saw the most beautiful woman I had every seen in my life. She wasn't just any normal woman she was mate, Cat bowed to my mate as she should as she walked out of the room.

Mika my mate walked into the room and shut the door behind her. She walked over to my bed and sat down on it. I smiled at her "How are yo-" She started but I didn't give her a chance to finish what she was going to say because I pulled her into my lap. Her face went as red as a tomato and it was really cute "Look how cute you are when you blush." I said to her as rubbed her cheek with two of my fingers. I felt the mate sparks as soon as I touched her cheek and it made my happy and I blushed a bit to which Mika giggled at and I looked at her. I pulled her closer to me and just held her "I'll get better faster if I hold you" I said to her and she nodded as she laid against me and I smiled happily. 'You sly dog' Roy said to me 'What? Its true I do have some wounds that wouldn't heal unless she was with us' I said to him and he rolled his eyes at me 'Hey we got our mate in our arms now shut up old mutt' I said to him 'Hey I'm not old you brat' Roy said to me and I rolled my eyes at him as held Mika close.

Apparently I fell asleep with Mika in my arms and she had fell asleep too, because when I woke up she was still asleep and she had droll on her cheek. I smiled at her as I rubbed it off and she stirred a bit "Morning babe" I said to her and she looked at me as she yawned "Is it morning?" She asked me and I chuckled "No love it’s about six in the afternoon." I said to her and she rubbed her eyes as she yawned again.

"I must be tried then" Mika said as she giggled and I held her close. "Well you did drive all this way my love" I said to her as I kissed the top of her head and she smiled "Well my friend came with me, but we took turns driving." She said to me and I had to think for a moment 'Lance's mate you a*s' Roy said to me "I'd like to meet her a little later dear." I said to Mika and she smiled at me and just nodded. Soon a nurse brought two dinner trays into room, one of me and one for Mika "Didn't know what you liked Luna so we brought you the same thing the Alpha is having." The nurse said to Mika and bowed "Thanks" She said smiling at the nurse. After the nurse left Mika and I started to eat, we had stake, baked potatoes, steamed carrots, and a roll, we had coke to drink also.
