I tapped the answer dot that had popped up on the screen of my phone, then I laid back on my phone as I lifted my phone up to my ear "Hello this Mika speaking" I said trying to hold back a giggle but I was failing at it badly "Hello Mika, its Hunter speaking." Hunter said with a chuckle in his voice 'Oh gah that his voice is sexy now I have to try not to melt' I thought and Max purred at the sound of Hunter's voice. "So how did training go?" He ask me "It was a pain, the Alpha made me and my friend train five times as hard as everyone else and the training is a b***h already." I said as I looked out the window that was a next to my bed "But we deserved it." I said to him and "How about your training?" I ask him and he let out a sigh "It was a alright, a lot of fighting as if it was a real fight, but that is how Alphas and next in line Alpha's train." He said to me and I thought about it for a moment and knew what was taking about because I had watched some of Cade's fights, and they was brutal just for training.
Hunter must have been in his office as while we have been on the phone because I hear the door get the slammed opened and someone tell him 'Alpha there is Rouges at the north end of the territory!' In a rushed voice and then I heard some curse words come Hunter as he slammed the phone done causing the line to go dead. I knew he had to go take care of the rouges, since he was the Alpha and all 'Moon Goddess please protect Hunter and his pack as go against the rouges.' I silently prayed the moon goddess as I looked to the moon.
Soon my bedroom door was opened slowly and I heard crying come from Lexa as she pushed the door opened as if she was a kid. I let out a sigh "Luna…" She whimpered and I closed my eyes for a moment. She believes I will a Luna so I must be strong like a Luna, for Lexa even though I'm worried like hell for Hunter. "Come on over here Lexa" I said to her as I sat up in my bed 'My best friend and Beta' I mind linked her as she walked over to my bed and got up on it and sat against the head board with me. She leaned against me and cried some more and I rubbed her back 'She must have been talking to her mate' Max said to me 'Yea just like we was, this is new for both of us' I said to Max, as she laid down and wined, she was worried 'We have to be strong Max, you know Lexa can feel when you are down.' I said to Max and she let out a huff, I knew we would have to go for a run later.
I let Lexa cry against me as I rubbed her back and I looked out the window "How about we talk about our mates that we can't wain to see?" I said as I looked back at her as I has noticed that she was now sniffling and she was looking up at me with puffy eyes "Okay Luna." She said as she wiped her eyes with her night gown sleeve she was wearing. "So what is his name?" I ask her and she smiles at me "His name is Lance and he is the next in line Beta of the Pack." She said to me and I smiled at her "Well Hunter is an Alpha, well the next in line due to his mate not being with him." I said in a sigh and it got quite in the room for a bit, till Lexa spoke up "I think they are awesome, strong, and caring" She said I did agreed with that but only with the pack "Hmm I think they that also but I think they have to show a total different side of themselves when it comes to rouges, traitors, and other packs that attack." I said to her as I thought about how any Alpha that loved and cared for his pack would act. "I think a Luna would fight by the side of her Alpha, what do think Lexa?" I ask her and she looked up at me as she as thought about it "Hmm I do think she would fight with her mate, but I also think she would go with the ones that didn't fight and keep them calm, and if she had to she would fight then." She said to me and I thought about "You are fight Lexa." I said to her smiling.
All of a sudden my cell phone rang and Hunter's phone number popped up and I answer it, Lexa looked at me and I put it on speaker phone "Hello is this Luna Mika's phone?" A voice I didn't know said and I tensed up so did Lexa "Yes this her" I said as I looked at the phone "Hello I'm a nurse from River Moon Pack and Alpha Hunter got badly" The nurse said and I looked at Lexa "What about Beta Lance?" She ask in a shaking voice "He is hurt badly also miss." The nurse to us and we looked at each other and nodded "We are on our way." I said to the nurse as I hung up the phone. "Go pack Lexa" I said to her and she ran out of my room to go pack a huge suite case and I got up out of bed and done the same thing. It took us thirty minutes to get our bags packed and we changed cloths.
