-Hunter's POV-
I had to slip away from Mika this morning because I had a few meetings and I hated that, had the elders not heard that there Alpha and Beta just got there mates with them. I let out a sigh as I listened to the elders argue the rouge problem and how to fix it. My wolf Roy was wanted to get out of this meeting more then I did ‘Something is wrong with Mate’ He keep repeating to me and I looked at Lance and he looked fix but then again him and his mate has done and mated. ‘s**t the full moon… I need to get Mika’ I thought ‘Well no s**t I have been trying to tell you this’ Roy said to me and I rolled my eyes at him “Gentleman we are going to have to call this a day and pick up the meeting after the full moon.” I said to them as they started to ask questions “Beta I’m sure you can take it from here” I said to Lance and just smiled at him. He looked at me ‘You jerk just because you haven’t marked her as yours means you can walk out the meeting’ He mind linked me and I glowed at him ‘YOU WATCH WHAT YOU SAY BETA! THAT IS MY MATE YOUR TALKING ABOUT!’ I yelled in my Alpha voice through the mink link to him and lowered his head in submission ‘Sorry Alpha, it will not happen again.’ He said ‘It better not Beta’ I growled, I’m sure both Lance and I was getting looks from the elders but I don’t care at all. I got up from my seat and walked out of the room and into the hallway.
As I shut the door behind me my mother came up to me “Hunter you have to get Mika now, she needs your touch.” She said to me “Where is she at mom?” I ask her “Mika is in your bathroom” My mother told me and I thanked her and ran to my bathroom. When I got to my bathroom I found that Mika was in the tub, I felt of the water she was in and it was ice cold they must have put ice in the tub with her. She had feel asleep but the look of pain was still there on that beautiful face of hers “Mika my love I’m here now.” I said to her as I ran a finger across her cheek “Let’s get you out of there so you don’t sick my love.” I said to her as picked her up out of the tub every so careful and I carried her to my bed even though she was still wet I didn’t care, I was going to hold my mate.
I carefully laid her on the bed and kissed her on the forehead “I’ll be right back my love.” I said to her as I walked a few paces away from the bed to take off my wet shirt and pants to which I then placed them in the hamper in the bedroom. Thankful my boxers was not wet I was not in the mood to change them to, I just wanted to get in bed hold my mate and make he pain go away.
After I walked back to the bed I carefully sat on my side of the bed and laid down next to her, and moved close to her so though was skin to skin contact. I’ve done a bit a of research and bit of asking she-wolfs about this stuff, I wanted to be ready for my mate. But I wasn’t really ready I guess ‘No you wasn’t, but I knew something was wrong’ Roy said to me and I rolled my eyes at him. Mika relaxed into my embrace and I could tell she was not in as much pain as she was before. She curled up against me as she slept and I watched her sleep.
I had few asleep with Mika in my arms, and I felt her move just a bit I was awake in no time. I will do anything for me mate, and I mean anything, she is mine. I kissed her on the cheek “Hello Bebe” I said smiling at her as she curled up even closer to me and that look of pain crossed her face again as she clinched her stomach. I rubbed my hand over her arm “Hi handsome” She said weakly, I wanted to take the pain away and I knew there was only one way to do that, but I wasn’t going to let the moon control when we marked and mated with each other. “Mom told me what happened and when I got in the bathroom you had fallen asleep.” I said to her and tilted her head to the side “I feel asleep in the tub?” She ask and I nodded “Yes my love, I got you out of the water so you wouldn’t get sick.” I said to her as I ran a hand through her still wet hair ‘I should have dried her off just a bit but I didn’t want to take her up.’ I thought to myself. She purred a bit and I lightly kissed her on the lips and kissed me back.
