Chapter 69

1561 Words

I walked out of the kitchen tiredly as I wiped the beads of sweat which had formed on my head due to the heat of the gas. I'm happy that I'm done with the cooking, there will be no more hits for today anymore. Luna told me that she has been calling for a while without me hearing, and that was the reason she hitted me. She told me to call immediately I was done, and that was where I was headed. I needed to find someone who knew the house of Luna, and luck wasn't on my side. All the pack members I met glared at me, and I wasn't able to ask them. I walked back to the kitchen dejectedly, and I saw Cynthia walking out of the kitchen with a smile. I was confused by that, and I moved toward her. She jumped in fright immediately she saw me in her front, and I could bet she wasn't expecting me.
