Cause: Drowning
Her phone buzzed.
3:33 AM.
Unknown: Day 6.
Unknown: Hold your breath.
White hallway.
14 doors left.
DOOR 7: AISHA
Jessica opened it.
Water.
Cold.
Dark.
She was at a lake.
Middle of the night.
No moon.
Aisha was in the water.
Struggling.
Going under.
Jessica: AISHA!
She jumped in.
The water was freezing.
Man: 24 hours.
Man: Save her... or watch her drown.
Aisha: Help... me...
Jessica swam fast.
Grabbed Aisha's arm.
Aisha: I can't... swim...
Jessica: I got you.
Jessica: Kick!
They were far from shore.
Aisha was getting heavy.
Jessica: Don't give up!
Something pulled Aisha down.
A cramp.
Jessica: Hold on to me!
Jessica wrapped her arms around Aisha.
Swam with one arm.
Kicked with both legs.
Every second felt like forever.
Her lungs burned.
Finally.
Shore.
They collapsed on the grass.
Coughing.
Shaking.
Man: Day 6... complete.
Man: 13 doors left.
Jessica held Aisha.
Aisha was crying.
Aisha: Thank you...
Aisha: I thought I was alone...
Jessica: You're not alone anymore.
Jessica: Never again.
The lake vanished.
Back to the hallway.
Jessica was soaked.
And freezing.
But she was smiling.
