Episode 5: Three Days Gone

Maya woke up to white lights.
Hospital. The smell of disinfectant burned her nose.
A machine was beeping next to her bed.
"She's awake!" a nurse said.
A doctor walked in. He looked tired.
"Miss Maya. Do you know where you are?"
"Hospital..." her voice was dry. "What happened?"
The doctor and nurse exchanged a look.
"You've been in a coma for three days," the doctor said.
"We found you unconscious in your living room."
Maya's blood went cold. Three days?
"Who brought me here?" she whispered.
"We don't know," the nurse said. "The ambulance got an anonymous call."
"No signs of break-in. No one else was in the house."
Maya remembered the girl in the mirror. The black eyes.
"Did... did you find anyone else?"
The doctor shook his head. "Just you."
Her phone was on the bedside table. 23 missed calls. All from "Unknown".
One new message.
Unknown: "You slept so long. I missed playing with you."
Maya dropped the phone. Her hands were shaking.
If no one was in the house... then who called the ambulance?
The lights flickered.
And in the reflection of the window, she saw her.
Standing behind her bed Smiling
She couldn't breathe.
