The date was set, going to the fair with Bryan, Ellie, and Megan on Saturday. He was picking me up at 4pm; we were going to play around at the fair, then be at the carnival all night. Megan came over earlier to help me shower and get ready. It had been two weeks since my accident and I was starting to get sick of this cast. I had a recheck in a few weeks, and I was hoping they could remove the cast then. I did like seeing all the names signed on it and the artwork Bryan did. A small reminder of what good friends I have.
“So how much do you like Bryan?” I knew Megan would ask me questions about Bryan sooner or later, but I also wasn’t sure exactly what we were doing.
“I guess enough. He’s pretty persistent, and it’s hard to say no.” That wasn’t the full truth, because I did like him a lot, but didn’t want to confess that just yet.
“Well, I think he is pretty cute, but be careful. You keep picking these older guys and I am pretty sure they expect more than just first base.”
“Megan, you have no idea! It’s like dealing with an entirely different species! They aren’t boys anymore for sure.” I laughed at that, it was more than the truth. “I think I can handle myself, besides, you aren’t leaving us alone tonight, right?”
“Like a chaperone?” I nodded. “Then I’m at your service!” Megan bowed slightly as we both laughed pretty hard.”
“I’m sure Bryan will love that!”
“You can just tell him that he earned it with all the hickeys he left on you last time.” Her eyes rolled and I forgot how visible those things were.
“Oh these? He may have gone a little over board…” I don’t know how to look guilty, but that was clearly the vibe I was giving.
“Did you guys go any further?” She was much more interested in my answer this time.
“We may have started too... but just a little. Don’t worry so much. I’ll be fine.”
“Just remember, he’s no virgin. And I’m pretty sure you still are… right?”
“Thank you for the dirt on Bryan. But I am still a virgin, and I already told him I was staying that way.” Saying it out loud helped my resolve sink in a bit more.
“So could we call this an ‘anti-wingman’ job tonight?” Megan looked excited.
“That sounds about right.” I wanted to have a nice normal date, and not end the night with his hands in my pants, again. Although, just that thought had me more excited to see him. UGH, I hate being a teenager.
Bryan pulled up at 4pm on the dot. Megan ran out first and called shotgun.
“What, no… That’s Talia’s spot.” Bryan pouted.
“Rules are rules, she called it first.” I didn’t pay any attention to him and climbed in the back. This was going to be more fun than I thought. He was already pouting and staring at me in the rearview mirror. I just smiled sweetly and blew him a kiss.
As soon as we parked, Bryan rushed to open the door for me. He was trying to be a gentleman, and I tried to let him, but Megan beat him too it. “Easy there Wolfie, she’s my date tonight too.”
“What? I asked her first! Talia… is she serious?” Note to self, Bryan is not good at sharing.
“Yea, Megan didn’t want to be left out today, so I told her you both can be my dates.” I hooked arms with her, and offered my cast to Bryan. “Are you willing to share me or not?”
“As long as I get some of you…” I stood up and kissed his cheek as a little reward. I didn’t want him to feel bad, but I also wanted him to work a little harder for my attention.
“Let’s go find some cotton candy! I’m craving some sugar!” Megan and I giggled as we skipped into the fair grounds. Bryan trailing slightly trying to keep up.
We found a cotton candy stand quickly. There were all sorts of options I wasn’t expecting. They made regular cotton candy into pieces of art. We ordered a big flower bouquet and watched them make it. It was fascinating. I loved how using sugar and a few tools, these artists made their living. And it was delicious.
“How can I get you to treat me like that cotton candy?” Bryan joked into my ear.
“I don’t know? Maybe you should try being extra sweet tonight? Or just be this pretty to look at.” I scooted away from him before he could kiss my neck. Megan helped by dragging me through one of the animal barns.
“Do we have to go through these?” Bryan complained.
“Yes! I love the animals. They are one of my favorite parts of the fair.” I wasn’t going to give in on his whining. After that, Bryan reluctantly followed us. He wasn’t interested and was borderline grumpy. I don’t know how anyone could not want to see baby goats. They were the cutest things! Being here made me want to live on a farm so that I could have all the animals I wanted. My mom was allergic to cats and dogs, so we never had any pets. She always said she loved seeing them, and it was her curse that she couldn’t have them in her house. Maybe we could get a pet now, that was something to ask my dad later.
After the barns, Bryan seemed happier, and we headed straight for the carnival. We met up with Ellie first. A few others might join us later. Us girls had a great evening catching up. I could tell that Bryan was feeling a little left out though. It wasn’t my goal, so I decided I should give him a little extra loving. I snuggled up to his side, and sweetly asked if he would go in the Farris wheel with me first.
“I’d be happy too. Can I get a kiss though?” He was pouting a little, and I couldn’t help but laugh. I happily gave him a soft kiss on his lips, that deepened a little faster than expected. I pulled back and looked into his eyes, he looked hungry, and a little desperate. I’m not sure our chaperone plan was going to work after all.
“We better get in line…” I felt my voice catching in my throat. His hands moved down my neck and lightly touched my shirt, all the way down to my jeans. Yes, I wore long jeans tonight, it was strategic.
“Did you think these were enough to stop me?” Bryan asked when his fingers hooked into my waistline. The Farris wheel may not have been the best idea… At least it wasn’t dark yet.
“What do you mean?” Let’s play coy, that should be my best bet.
“Miss Talia… if you want to play games, I can play games.” He gave me the shivers this time. Both delightful and terrifying. Thank goodness we were up next and loaded into the pod. My cast was awkwardly pinned in the corner of the bench, but the rest of us was quite cozy. Bryan’s left arm was wrapped low along my back and his right hand casually rested on my thigh. When we started to move, I squealed in delight, or maybe fear. They were pretty similar feelings at this point.
I started talking about whatever I could to distract him. The weather, the other rides, what we should eat for dinner. By the time we were at the top, Bryan started laughing.
“Are you trying to distract me?” He caught on. Oh SH*T. What do I do now?
“I guess maybe…”
“Why? When we have so much fun together, all alone.” He nibbled my ear and kissed trailed down my neck. “See? I even left a few marks from all the fun last time.” His laugh was devious and alluring. This was why I set up barriers today, because I wasn’t strong enough to say no in the moment. Instead, a little moan slipped out of my mouth. I bit my lips tight trying to prevent any more betrayals from my horny body.
“Those were a little difficult to explain to my dad…” Maybe referencing my dad will slow him down. “I told him it was a reaction to some sunscreen, but I don’t actually think he bought it.”
“You’re a feisty one, aren’t you?” He finally stopped and laughed at me.
“I’m just feeling a little rushed, and was hoping we could slow down just a lot bit.” There, I got the words out, now hopefully my body will back up my mouth.
“That’s too bad, I had some big plans for you tonight…” He seemed ok with my response, but also disappointed. The people pleaser in me was feeling guilty, till I remember that I didn’t have anything to feel guilty about. URGH! These boys were going to be the death of me! Seriously. Why can’t I just find a normal guy, who happens to be my soulmate, and fall head over heels in love? Without any questions about whether or not we are right for each. I just want to know right away! That’s probably too much to ask isn’t it.
“I’m not saying no to everything… just slower.” I didn’t want to shut him down 100%, so hopefully that will give him something to be happy about. “Deal? Wolfie…” I was meaning to be playful and he liked it.
“Alright, foxy…. I can play that game.” He kissed me very roughly and with more passion and desire than I was ready for.
“Ummmm, that’s not slow.”
“Sorry, I’m not sorry…” before I knew it my neck was licked and my butt grabbed.
“Behave!” I scolded with a laugh as I jumped out of the pod as fast as the attendant would let me. Bryan ran after me, and we had a really good laugh. We could still have fun at my pace. I just needed to show him that.
We were able to hit most of the rides, but the fastest ones I wasn’t allowed on because of my cast. I was bummed. Everyone else was going on the zipper for the 3rd time, when Bryan offered to take me on the Ferris wheel again. It was dark now, and I had a feeling he had a plan. The line was short, luckily, and the wheel wasn’t full, hopefully giving us an extra-long ride.
“Looks like I finally have my little fox pinned…” he was definitely planning on eating me this time.
“I guess so…” I kissed him first, after all, I wasn’t a prude, and his lips had been tempting me all night. Plus, his earlier promise of what he wanted to do to me had my mind racing. There were no more words, our mouths were too busy. We parted slightly at the top of the wheel when I bit Bryan’s tongue a little hard. I started to apologize, but it seemed he liked it, too much. His hands, mouth and every other part of his body tried to engulf me. Before I knew it my jeans were un buttoned and his hand was tracing circles down to my lips. I gasped and tried to catch my breath.
He stopped long enough for us to realize there was something wrong with the ride. Most of the other riders had already gotten off, but we were left, at the top, with all the privacy we could hope for. The attendants were yelling and someone seemed to be going to get help. Of course, were broken down, just when someone was trying to steal 3rd base. My luck seemed to be struggling these days.
“Don’t be scared, I’m here to protect you…” He was trying to be cute. Little did he know I never needed protecting. I have a guardian angel…Gabe. Oh, he must be mad right now, but I hadn’t felt him tonight. Had he given up? Maybe I should just give up too.
“I’m not scared…” I grabbed his shirt and slipped my hands up to his chest and restarted our make-out sesh. I felt a freedom in initiating the kisses. The danger of being stuck up here, the view, the stars, this must be cloud nine! I wasn’t sure how long we were going to be stuck, but Bryan wasn’t wasting any time. His hands kept working their magic between my legs. There may have been warning shivers now, but I clearly wasn’t paying enough attention. He was sending me closer to an edge I had never even seen before while teasing just the right spot. I was grabbing his chest much tighter than should be comfortable, but he seemed to be enjoying himself. Just as I thought I couldn’t take it anymore, the edge disappeared and sweet release hit my whole body. Waves of ecstasy hit me. I couldn’t focus on anything else, until Bryan started laughing quietly to himself.
“That, my little fox, is what I had in mind for tonight.” All I could do was giggle in between shivers at that point. Luckily, I zipped my pants back up before we both got the shock of our lives. The Ferris wheel jolted forward; I could hear screaming down below. We both grabbed the hand rail and held on for dear life. My left arm couldn’t get any kind of grip though. Bryan saw me struggle, but before he could try to help me, our pod dropped, while the whole wheel spun almost a full 180 degrees.
I could have cared less about Bryan at that moment though, as Gabe was clearly doing his job tonight. I felt his whole body wrap around me and hold me safely in place. We were so close. I could even smell him. I know I may have just had my first orgasm, but this was the ecstasy I really wanted. Wrapped in his arms, that’s what I craved.
The power to the ride went out quickly after we landed, and we scrambled to get out. The few others that were still on the ride were rescued via a boom lift. It was really a sh*t show. I didn’t even realize I was sobbing. Bryan wasn’t letting me go either. I think comforting me helped him hide how much that shook us both.
Our friends were on the sidelines waiting for us, Megan and Ellie were crying too. Apparently, watching the wheel drop was pretty terrifying for them as well.
“Are you guys ok?” Ellie was the most shaken. She ran over to us both and pulled her brother away from me to hug him. It was really sweet to see her and Bryan together. I wasn’t too sure about Bryan and I together yet, but he really was a good guy.
“I think so, it felt so weird when we fell. I thought for sure that we would fly out of our seats… It felt like Talia held me in though.” Bryan was scratching his head and looking at me like I had just saved him. If only he knew the truth. Gabe saved us, and I was still feeling the effects of his tingles on my body. How could I be with a great guy like Bryan, but still be thinking of my unattainable angel. At this point I just wanted to go home.
The carnival refunded all of our tickets, and offered us any free food we wanted before we left. The mood was ruined, but I wasn’t going to say no to some curly fries and more cotton candy. We took them back to the car with us, and headed home. I called my dad to let him know what happened, that we were ok, and would be home soon.
We dropped Ellie of at Megan’s, and drove to my house. Bryan wanted to walk me inside, I don’t think he wanted to let me go yet. We went to the living room and cuddled up on the couch. My dad came out to check on us.
“Hello sir,” Bryan greeted my dad while I still held onto him tightly. “Talia here is still pretty shaken up, so I decided to stay with her awhile.”
“Thank you, I appreciate you taking such good care of my girl.” My dad was anxious to see that I was alright, but also didn’t want to intrude. “Tali? Are you ok? Do you want me to stay up with you?”
“I’m still a bit in shock… I just want to look out the window a bit longer.” The night was clear and the view was just what I needed to disconnect from tonight’s events, all of them.
“Alright, I’m going back to bed. Bryan, you can stay for a little while longer.” This was a new step for my dad, I knew he trusted me and he was giving me more freedom than I probably deserved at this point. “Be good…” he said almost with a laugh as he waved us good night.
Bryan chuckled a little as he snuggled into my neck. “What exactly does that mean?” Bryan spoke quietly to me.
“I think it means ‘keep your hands out of my daughter’s pants’…” I laughed back at him. Admitting to the evenings previous escapades lightened the mood. “These life-threatening accidents may have my nerves shot!”
“Is this a common thing with you that I should know about?”
“I don’t know. You can run away now if you want. I can’t promise anything but crazy decisions and erratic emotions at this point in my life.” I was trying to be honest, and push him away.
“I’m in, as long as you are.” Jeez, what was with these guys and falling for all my craziness? I didn’t have any objections at this point in our relationship though. Nothing screamed, ‘he’s not for you!’ Except maybe that whole not liking animals’ thing.
“I’m in… but we have to go apologize to Robin soon. He still has to approve of being cheated on.”
“Shall we do that tomorrow? And maybe have a movie night? I want to hold you on the ground for a long time. No more heights for a while.” I nodded my head and held on to Bryan tighter. I didn’t want to let go and go to bed. He didn’t either. At some point I fell asleep and he carried me to my bed. There were some perks to dating an older guy, he knew how to take care of me. In more ways than one.
