Prisha was literally very busy with the documents that she did not realize that it was time to go home unless Ikshita called her. She was always busy but she would take out time for lunch today she did not even have her lunch. Thinking about food made her very hungry. Prisha grabbed her bag and made her way towards the car park where Ikshita was waiting for her. How was your day madam Ikshita replied happily? Why won’t she be happy after all she had done something that was totally unexpected? I have not eaten anything. Pari replied sadly I am starving Ishi. Please let's eat something. How about Chinese saying that she licked her lips as if she has not eaten for years. WHAT Ikshita said loudly looking at her surprised you have not eaten anything, how is that possible food and you are like a magnet how can you not eat anything? Not even a biscuit she asked in a low voice to which Pari shook her head negatively and made a sad face. While Ikshita gave her a small smile.
Pari: Now can you stop it and drive.
Ishi: Well it seems you are very busy in the office.
Pari: Yes, I had a lot of files to study and it took time.
Soon they arrived at a Chinese restaurant. Pari ordered almost 5 dishes while Ishi ordered only chilly chicken. Soon their order arrived, Pari was the first one to start. After they had their food they returned back home. While lying side by side facing the ceiling in the silences both did not speak with each other. Ishi glanced at pari who was deep thoughts it was unusual for her because she was the one who always took initiative to talk. “What happening what are you thinking about?” Pari did not respond and shook her head. “I know something had happened. What is it, Pari?” Ishi asked again. Pari told Ishi all that happened today and her boss was none other than that rude person. Ishi shared some words of thoughts with her and finally, she was okay and all ready to face a new challenge.
The next morning both went to their respective workplaces. At Marigold fashion house Ikshita was called to the MDs office. Mrs. Marigold was looking at her phone nervously; it made sense to Ikshita that something was wrong. Looking at Ikshita who was standing at the door she smiled a little and asked her to sit. Ikshita did what was told to her.
Mrs. Marigold: Ikshita, how are you?
Ishi: I am a good madam. How about you? You look worried!
Mrs. Marigold: Yes dear! Actually, Mr. Malhotra called today and he said from now on the leader of the project will be working with him in his office and if we fail to follow his order then there will be no deal taking place between the two companies. Ikshita, I know you can do it. You are a very hardworking staff member of my department.
Ishi was looking at her with her mouth slightly open. Mrs. Marigold would not assume what she was thinking so she continued. I know it's hard to change your workplace and you are attached here with everyone, but please think practically Ikshita beta if Mr. Malhotra cancels the deal there will be a big loss for our company and many will lose their job and we have to shut down the company also.
Ishi after thinking for some time replied confidently don't worry madam, I will work in the Malhotra industry.
Mrs. Marigold had tears in her eyes and she instantly hugged rishi and said thank you beta, I will miss you a lot. Ishi regarded Mrs. Marigold as her mum because she was always strict with her and loved her as her own daughter.
At ten Ikshita bagged in the CEOS office without knocking. Reyansh was not at all surprised and did not have an angry face. His face was cool, showing no emotions. Why did you do that? Ishi asked, grating her teeth and giving cold glares. If looks could kill by now Reyansh would have been dead. What did I do? He asked, keeping an innocent face.
Ikshita: condition she said dangerously
Reyansh: ohh that! Actually, you know I don't like to play hide and seek so I thought face to face would be better. Don't you think so Ms. Ikshita?
Ikshita: don't mind me if you lose.
Reyansh: The same applies to you.
Ikshita: Fine then Mr. Kiyansh Malhotra I bet you will regret having me here and soon will ask me to leave.
Reyansh: Let's see!! But for now, I am your boss and you have to work not to talk about unnecessary things. Before starting bring me a cup of coffee
Ikshita: Who me I am not your PA okay. Can you please tell me where my cabin is?
Reyansh: Wow, okay. I did not have the idea before but you are awesome. {Said with an evil smile}
Ikshita: What do you mean?
Reyansh: I mean from now you will be working as my PA and now bring me a coffee
Ikshita: what no that was not in the contract
Reyansh: I can do anything Ms. Ikshita, now stopping arguing and bring my coffee {he said sternly}
