~Fenrir
I was worried. Worried by the fact that father was not concerned about how my brother was going to rule the pack.
A sigh escaped my lips as I headed to my brother’s room, at least to speak with him. There was something. There was something about the young lady and even though I tried to ignore it, I couldn’t.
She was indeed very beautiful but that was the last thing I was worried about that minute. The welfare of the pack mattered to me.
Disappointment could not justify how I felt the minute I opened his door. Of course, it was expected but at that moment?
My brother's upper body was bare as he sat on his bed, intoxicated with wine and women touching and caressing him.
“Hey brother, would you like to join me?” He questioned and stretched a bottle to me.
Why was father not seeing this? Why was he deciding to make him the Alpha even after knowing all this? Why wouldn’t he just make me be the Alpha instead?
Rather than trade words with him, I decided to let him be as I walked into the room. I wad going to device a method to stop him from being Alpha.

The early morning sun penetrated though the blinds that shielded the window and shine brightly on my face, forcing me to a wake.
Without wasting any more time, I got up, not waiting for the maids this time, as I quickly took my bath and headed out. I had to stop my father from making a foolish decision no matter what it takes.
I was prepared to leave when a knock suddenly disrupted my thoughts. Who was it this time?
“Good morning, my Lord. The Luna requests for you to come down for breakfast” a maid informed me.
I arched my brows. She bowed and walked out again. Informing my mother that I would not be having breakfast would only make things complicated and that was not something I wanted to do.
I jumped out of the window as mother and father would not let me go anywhere since my coward of his brother was having his coronation party. Avoiding the guards and maids, I made my way quickly to the stable to get my horse.
“My Savior!” I suddenly heard a voice call out to me. I was shocked and arched my brows as I froze on the spot. I turned quickly to see the maid who had dared to stop me. I already knew who it was but I wanted to confirm my thoughts.
“You?” I questioned as I stared at her in disbelief.
“Thank you so much for feeding me last night. I am indeed grateful” She crouched. I rolled my eyes and nodded.
“You are….”
“Marissa, my Lord. “ She answered a smile etched to my face.
“Good. Now, get the hell out of my way” I responded, a frown etched to my face. I had no idea why she was there anyway. How had she found me?
“Are you heading out, my savior?” She probed further. Why was it so hard for her to understand I did not have anything to say to her?
“That is… none of your business” I responded as I mounted the horse. “I was nice to give you food, quench your thirst and give you a place to spend the night. I cannot guarantee me being nice to you if you do not leave here this very minute” I responded.
“I am very sorry, my savior but are you taking a stroll? I could come with you as well” She answered.
“Hoe dare you try to stop me!” I yelled before realizing I had to keep my voice low.
Of course, I did not want to draw any more attention to me. “While I am still being so calm and nice to you leave this very minute and do not incur any more troubles to yourself” I ordered her but she seemed obstinate.
“I really want to get to know you more” She insisted.
“Perhaps, some other time. I…..”
“Brother! Why are you out here? Everyone has been searching for you” Orion approached me with a smile on his face and the young lady ran away quickly. I had no idea why but she seemed quite unsettled…..
I was disgusted and disappointed in the fact that he finally found me. Now, how was I going to accomplish my mission? He was going to indeed get me in trouble.
“Come on in. Do not keep us waiting anymore” He responded and walked back in.
“I didn’t know you had a brother” She suddenly spoke as she returned, out of nowhere. I chuckled as I alighted from my horse, anger boldly written in my eyes.
“You are a spy…. Aren’t you?” I questioned as I grabbed her by the neck and she gasped.
“Jack! Killian!” I yelled and two guards ran as fast as they could towards me. “Lock her up until I decide what to do with her.” I informed them.
“I do not know whoever had sent you here but whoever did, sent you on a good cause. Of course, you are going to lose your life, you shall also be useful to me before you breathe your last” I whispered to her. She stared at me in disbelief, perhaps, wondering how a man like me had changed so quickly.
I wasn’t concerned though. My mind was made up. Orion was never going to be the Alpha. No matter how hard he tries. Marisssa… would be my weapon.
