“At ease!” The tall man saluted before dropping the file on the table.
“Thank you. This is everything I asked for?” I asked, using the mouse to exit the page I was on.
“Yes sir. But sir,” he hesitated before he continued. “This case isn’t under our jurisdiction. The Arizona police department are keeping things very tight. It was very difficult for me to get this file. They’re pushing for the maximum punishment.”
I nodded. “You know I always have a reason for doing whatever I do.”
He nodded.
“Good. Once I find out what I need, I’ll let you know.”
