The FBI’s inspection team from Washington was due to arrive in Atlanta in two weeks for their triennial turn-the-office-upside-down inspection. The message from the team of three inspectors and their twenty-six assistants was, “We’re just coming to Atlanta to help you out.” The best thing an agent could do during those two weeks would be to stay as far away from the office as possible.
