Riley’s eyes fluttered open as she felt herself being lifted off the plush comfort of River’s bed. Confused and disoriented, she tried to piece together what was happening.
Her body was being moved without her consent, but surely River wouldn’t kick her out of his bed like this? Was it morning already? Had he finished with her and now wanted her gone?
