For some reason, Alex got chills just by hearing her words.
He had no idea what she meant. He had known Ava for years. One thing he knew about her was that she never made empty threats. She only makes promises.
Even if he wasn't convinced before, the evil glint in her eyes told him all he needed to know.

"Look" Alex started "I don't know what you're planning, okay? Honestly, I don't care. If you lay a finger on Emerald, I will kill you myself. Your death will be slow and painful. Got it?"
