When dinner commenced, I prayed for the time to go by fast. After the incident with Jazz, a lot of people looked at me and whispered. Some looked at me with sympathy while some looked at me with expressions I couldn't decipher. As soon as dinner was over, I left the dining hall. I think I was even the first person to leave that place. The weight of humiliation still clung to me as I left the dining room. I needed to get out of here. I felt so suffocated and embarrassed.
