Episode 6: "Boda Ride" The night was still buzzing as Adeyemi and Mosunmola left the food joint. They decided to grab some fresh air, walking through Ajegunle's lively streets. As they laughed about the dance, a boda-boda rider slowed down beside them. "Hey, sir, lady, ride?" Adeyemi waved him off, but Mosunmola's heels were killing her. "Actually, can we take it? My feet are dying." The rider grinned. "Okay, madam! Hop on!" Adeyemi hopped on first, then helped Mosunmola on behind him. The boda zoomed off, weaving through traffic. Mosunmola wrapped her arms around Adeyemi's waist to steady herself. As they rode, Adeyemi felt a rush – her hair blowing in his face, her grip tight. The boda stopped suddenly at a checkpoint. Police officers flagged them down, checking IDs. One officer eyed Mosunmola, his gaze lingering. "You students? What're you doing out here?" Adeyemi handed over his ID, but the officer focused on Mosunmola. "You, come down. We need to check your bag." Mosunmola hesitated, gripping Adeyemi tighter. The officer stepped closer. "No trouble, just a routine check." Adeyemi felt a surge of unease. "Sir, is everything okay?" The officer's smile was cold. "Mind your business." Mosunmola's eyes locked on Adeyemi's, a flicker of fear. Suddenly, the officer reached for her arm. Adeyemi jumped off the boda. "No, sir—"
