Adeyemi was unloading crates at the market when he heard a commotion. He turned to see Mosunmola stumbling, her heel caught in a pothole. She lost her balance, and before she could hit the ground, Adeyemi rushed over and caught her.

"Whoa, you okay?" he asked, helping her up.

Mosunmola brushed off her clothes, a bit flustered. "Y-yeah, thanks. I'm fine." She looked up at him, her eyes apologetic. "I guess these heels weren't the best idea."

Adeyemi smiled. "No worries. You new around here?"

She smiled back, adjusting her bag. "Just visiting a friend. I'm Mosunmola."

"Adeyemi," he said. "Need help getting somewhere?"

Mosunmola hesitated, then nodded. "Actually, yeah. I was heading to the university. Can you show me the way?"

Adeyemi's day just got interesting. He walked her through the bustling streets of Ajegunle, pointing out landmarks and dodging vendors. They chatted about everything from music to school. Mosunmola was a law student at UniLag, and Adeyemi was impressed.

As they approached the campus gate, Mosunmola slowed down. "Thanks for the rescue, Adeyemi. Maybe I'll see you around?"

Adeyemi grinned. "Definitely will. Take care, Mosun."

She smiled and waved before disappearing into the crowd. Adeyemi stood there, feeling lighter. Maybe this day was turning out okay after all 😊.
