Xavier ordered Sarah, and his Adam's apple rolled in his throat.
Sarah quickly handed over a long towel, and within moments, Xavier wrapped it around Jennifer's body. Then, he picked her up and swiftly carried her towards the large bed.
"Get under the blanket."
Xavier grabbed the already spread out bedding, intending to tuck Jennifer in.
But Jennifer clung to him, refusing to let go. Her cold body kept burrowing into his embrace, as if it were the place that could give her the most warmth.
