Chapter 12

Danielle POV

After swimming in a ocean of everlasting darkness, I finally seen a small light. It moved with grace, and I found myself moving toward it. The weird thing is I wasn’t scared. I just wanted out of this darkness. The light was shining so bright in front of me, I reached for it. I was snatched out of the darkness to a beautiful forest with a pond so blue that it was completely clear. I’ve never seen a place so beautiful. I felt anxious about where I was, and no one was here with me.

“Hello, Daughter.” An unfamiliar voice said to me.

“Ex-excuse me. You may have the wrong girl. I’m the daughter of Samuel and Ruth Cooper of the Blue Moon Pack.”

She started giggling at me.

“Why yes, yes you are. However you are also my daughter to.”

I looked around and finally saw a beautiful woman coming to me from a Behind a tree. She looked absolutely timeless and beautiful she was wearing a cream color dress and her hair and eyes were white.

“Allow me to introduce myself I am who they call ‘The Moon Goddess’.” I stared at her in shock. I couldn’t even speak. Finally when I realized I was being completely disrespectful. I kneeled on front of her.

“Daughter, you do not have to do that. If you would please stand, and we can talk for a while.” I look up at her and smiled a soft smile.

“Yes ma’am”

“Now, I’m sure you are wondering what is going on. That boy wolf that you know as Conner hurt you. However, instead of letting you cross to the other side, I believe you are the person I’ve been searching for. You see I can see into your heart and soul, and they are both pure. I also know your life has barley even begun. I wish to allow you to go back to the world. However, if you choose to there will be dangers coming for you. You see I can only choose something like this for only the purest of my people, however they must take back some of my gifts to help the rest of the community.” She paused for a moment. I patiently waited for her to continue.

“I have only done it twice since the very first werewolf was created. You would be my third chosen one. However, there is more you should be aware of. You, my daughter, will be one of the strongest most powerful werewolves to ever exist if you choose to go back. I’m sure you are unaware. Your grandfather from B.C age was the first werewolf; he was also the top Alpha/Elder of his time. You see he had a direct link to me, and he to possessed some of my powers. You and your family have always had an extremely special place in my heart. Now, Danielle I have explained everything in great detail. What do you choose?”

I couldn’t help the blank look on my face. What will I choose! Finally I caught my dignity and decided to ask a few questions.

“Ma’am you said I will be the strongest werewolf to ever live, but I am only human.”

“Ahh, Yes well I can understand your confusion. However, no you are not human your body has been already undergoing a slow transfer since you meet your mate. I seen how you were treated at the Blue Moon Pack, and decided to hold off on giving you your wolf until your mate came into the picture.”

My mouth shifted in the ‘o’, everything suddenly made sense now.

“Moon Goddess, what if my mate doesn’t want me anymore?”

“How about you take a look for yourself”

When she opened her arms in almost like a stretching motion a vision appeared. It was him gripping onto my hand talking to me.

“Hey darlin’, it’s me. I made a decision to get you out of that pack. When you wake up if you choose you can go back, however I pray you don’t. I’ve got to go see my parents, then I will be back immediately after. Oh and one last thing, Danielle, I’m sorry I wasn’t there to protect you; I failed you. If you could just wake up for me I will spend the rest of my life making up for failing you, just please come back to me.”

I started sobbing. I was given a mate, and look what I have put him through. He thinks all of this is his fault. When in reality it is all my fault. I should have never allowed Conner to get so close to me. I couldn’t help the tears that were flowing down my face.

“Now, don’t do that daughter. Just know I have over a hundred prayer request from him to save you, and to send you back to him.”

I simply nodded my head.

“I’ll do it.”

She smiled and walked over to me. She came and gave me a kiss on the forehead, and there was nothing, but darkness again. But this time I wasn’t alone. I turned and saw a beautiful silver wolf floating beside me. When all of the sudden I felt a head rush. I immediately opened my eyes, and started to look around.

“Hello, Danielle?”

I simply nodded.

My name is David I am Alpha Aaron’s top pack doctor at the Grey Sea Pack. I’m sure you have many questions, and I can assure you that in time you will have all your answers. In the meantime rest the Alpha will be down here momentarily.”

In that exact moment my heart began to flutter. I closed my eyes, and drifted off to sleep. Soon, I was awakened to soft whispers, and my hand had fireworks coming down my arm with what felt like sweat on my hand. Finally I opened my eyes, and looked straight at the most handsome man I have ever seen in my life, Alpha Aaron.
