The Incident

Danielle’s POV

The next morning I woke up extra early; I’m sure I was just excited to see Aaron again. He is so tall and muscular. I have never seen a man so big. He towered over the previous Alpha, even though him and Alpha Dylan was close to the same height. Alpha Dylan didn’t have anywhere near the muscles Aaron had. I looked at my phone, and I had several missed calls, and text messages from Conner. I decided not even to look at the messages; I’m sure he seen plenty last night to make him madder than an hornet. I decided to go ahead, and call him when I heard a knock at the door. I was praying it was Aaron what a wonderful way to start my morning to see his gorgeous sculpted face. When I opened the door it was of course Conner standing at my door.

“Conner What are you doing here?” I asked with a slight tension in my voice

“What the F**k do you think you was doing last night Danielle?” He sounded pissed. Oh this cannot be good.

“Conner lower your voice please, and come in. I have somethings to talk to you about.”

He stomped inside and went straight to sit on the couch without saying another word to me.

“Conner I would like to break up. You see I found my mate last night and he..”

“YOU STUPID B***H! You don’t have a mate; you are a HUMAN!” He snapped.

“Well like I was saying I found my mate even Dr. Dennis can testify that’s why I passed out, because my body was having a hard time with the mate bond being so strong.”

*SLAP!* He hit me straight across the face. Fighting the tears from the pain. I quickly looked at him and began to speak again.

“Conner I have a mate; we are through. Now get the F**k out of my house, and NEVER TALK TO ME AGAIN!”

“NO, YOU ARE MINE!” Grabbing me by my already bruised arm making me winched in pain. I snatched my arm out of his grasp and looked at him with so much hatred and anger.

“Get out or I will call my Brother to come remove you.” He sit there in total shock, and surprise. I have never talked back to him or stood up to him in any way. I got up walked up the stairs to my room to grab my phone. As soon as I picked it up, I was hit across the head. I turned around, and finally seen him for what he truly was an abusive a** hole.

“You are mine; you stupid human. You cannot have a mate. You. Are. MINE!” He started hitting me again. I screamed to the top of my lungs, but no one heard me. My parents, and my brother are already at work; there is no point in trying the whole darn house is sound proof.

“You stupid H*E! I knew all along you’ve been f***ing other guys just trying to find someone to want you. But I can promise you one thing; if I cannot have you then no one can.” Leaning back with all his might and hitting me one last time before I blacked completely out.

Alpha Dylan POV

My first official day of being the Alpha; I get up super early to get everything started. I go down to the kitchen, and the Omegas have a wonderful breakfast already make for me, and the other Alphas that decided to stay the night. What I couldn’t believe was Alpha Aaron was actually mated to Danielle. She is nothing but a human. I cannot believe he got a human for Luna, such a disgrace to our entire community. I ate breakfast started mingling with the other Alphas when I noticed Alpha Aaron’s Beta, and Gamma was practically running up to his room. Moments went by, and suddenly he came down the stairs nodded his head acknowledging that I was there. He had a look in eyes that I couldn’t understand. Soon Dr. Dennis came to me telling me there was a important matter he needed to discuss with me. I lead him toward my new office. I couldn’t help my wolf walking around with so much pride. I opened the office door as soon as it closed and locked. Dr. Dennis started to speak.

“Sir, I need to tell you about a serious matter in the pack. It’s about one of the pack warriors and Danielle.” I frowned hearing her name knowing whatever he is about to say cannot be good. I nodded my head letting him know to keep going.

“You see sir she has been slightly abused.”

“S**t by who?” I say facepalming my face at the same time.

“Conner O’Brian.”

“What do you mean slightly?”

“From what she tells me he hasn’t hit her, however he grabs her all the time and he uses enough strength to bruise her entire arm making the bruise look like his hand print.”

“Oh, well Danielle is human, so of course she would bruise much easier. I’m sure if I thumped her just right she would bruise.”

He gave he a looked that said he did not agree.

“Sir, Alpha Aaron already knows.”

“F**k of course he does!” Putting my face in both of my hands this time. This was not something we can sweep under the rug like so many other instances. As soon as he was about to say something else we heard a howl of pain and anger. A howl that was so strong, I have never felt that kind of power and strength. Dr. Dennis and I ran out of the office everyone was looking around shocked.

“Where did that howl come from!” I asked in my Alpha tone. Everyone pointed out the castle door just then I see Alpha Aaron’s Beta and Gamma jump down from the second floor sprinting toward the door. S**t, please No! I thought to myself as soon as I seen them turn toward Danielle’s house.

“Dr. Dennis go to the clinic. Get it ready for whatever is about to come.” He nodded his head, and I started sprinting in the direction of Danielle’s house. I mind linked my Beta, Mason telling him to meet me as soon as possible at his parents house. By the time I arrived Mason was in coming up from my right.

“Alpha, what is this about?” He asked concerned.

“Your sister, mind link your parents let them know to meet us at the pack hospital.” I said before we heard a commotion going on inside. I turned to go inside and immediately smelled blood. I fastened my pace and headed up the upstairs. When I turned the corner I seen Danielle laying in Alpha Aaron’s arms unconscious covered in blood. The Beta and Gamma stared at me with heartache for their Alpha.

“Alpha Aaron, we need to take her to the pack hospital now.” I could barley hear her breathes as they were now very shallow.

“If she dies I will kill him.” He said in an unrecognizable voice. As soon as the last word left his mouth he picked her up and ran her to the hospital.

Once we all passed through the doors with Alpha Aaron carrying her bridal style. Her parents were already there as soon as Ruth saw her daughter in her current state she broke down. Samuel turned his head, and grabbed onto Ruth as tears started to form to his eyes. He wasn’t sad; he was pissed. Dr. Dennis already had a bed ready for her and started to assess her injuries. I turned on my heel once the doctor and nurse started working on her, and mind linked my Gamma, Grayson.

“Find Conner O’Brian and bring him to my office stat.”

“Yes Alpha.” I let Mason know I will be going to my office to deal with Conner. He turned to his parents letting them know he had some business to take care of, and if anything happens to Danielle let him know asap. The rest of the walk to my office was in a sad silence.
