Aaron’s POV

I was keeping my composure the best that I could. I was pacing in the waiting room. Hunter keep nagging me about earlier events.

“You stupid f**k I told you we needed to go!”

“Hunter don’t name call; did you know she was in pain?”

“Yes, I had a feeling she was. We wasn’t in pain, because she doesn’t have a wolf and we hadn’t completed the mating process.” He said sounding defeated.

“Hunter you know I would have stopped this if i could.” He sighed and retreated to the back of my mind. Dr. Dennis finally came out, and looked at me and her family with an sad expression.

“Dennis, How is my daughter?” Samuel said

“She has a concussion, it is pretty severe. I honestly don’t know if she will pull through it. It’s going to be up to her, and the Moon Goddess now.” My wolf howled in the back of my mind with so much agony and pain. He then started whimpering to the back of my mind. Samuel grabbed hold of Ruth squeezed her even harder, letting her cry into his chest while staring daggers at no one specific. His eyes glazed over meaning he must have been telling either the Alpha or Beta about the news.

“Can I see her please?” I begged the doctor. He nodded, and told me to follow him. When I walked in the blood was gone; she was wrapped in bandages. Danielle’s face was black and blue. I pulled a seat next to her, held her hand, and kissed it a thousand times. Praying and begging the Moon Goddess to save my beautiful mate. The next morning I was woken by my Beta.

“Aaron, Alpha Dylan wants to see you.” Looking at Danielle with an extremely sad expression. I sighed knowing I had to leave her.

“Beta, stay in this room with Danielle. No one is allowed in this room except Dr. Dennis, and her family. If ANYONE so much lays a finger on your future Luna to hurt her. Kill them.” I say using my Alpha command. Even though I definitely did not have to command him, because he was my best friend and he would put down his life for me and now Danielle. I wanted to make sure he knew I was being 1000 percent serious.

“Yes Alpha!” He said as he bowed his head.

I started walking to the castle, when Mason meet me in the doorway.

“Alpha Aaron, I am here to escort you to Alpha Dylan‘s office.” I nod and we headed to the office. Mason knocked once and opened the door.

“Ahh, Alpha Aaron thank you for joining me. We have a few things to discuss.” He sounded almost chipper.

“First things first I have to ask you a few questions about Danielle.” I raised my brow in suspicion.

“Yes?”

“Alpha Aaron, Are you aware Danielle is human?” He said. I’m getting annoyed why is being a human in this pack is such a bad thing; it’s just pissing me off more than anything.

“Yes.”

“And you said she was your mate correct?”

“Yes, Dr. Dennis can testify.”

“Are you aware that Conner believes she is his mate also?” I immediately stand from my chair anger radiating off of me.

“WHAT?!”

“Ahh, I see you didn’t know. Alpha, please sit I have a few more questions.” I sit down trying to calm myself and my wolf down.

“Alpha, I questioned Conner about everything. He told me he went to check on Danielle yesterday morning after seeing she passed out the night of the Crowning ceremony. She was perfectly fine, and went back to bed when he left. He believes you did this to Danielle after you found out she had another mate. Is this true?” He said with a smirk.

“YOU’VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW! YOU ACTUALLY BELIEVE I WOULD HURT MY MATE!” I started seeing red. Nothing was clear anymore; I cannot believe his man calls himself an Alpha! He is taking the word of a narcissistic abuser than another known trustworthy Alpha.

“This is absurd, I will be speaking to the Elders as soon as I get back to my pack, and I am taking Danielle with me!” I was mad; I was more than mad I was PISSED!

“You cannot take her; she’s a member of this pack!” He said sounding almost shocked.

“Obviously, this pack is not taking care of her! Also, it is customary once a female finds her mate to move in with him and his pack. I will take her with me as soon as she is able to take the trip.” I didn’t even give him a chance to answer before turning on my heel and walking out of the office. I needed to go on a run and clear my mind. If I didn’t go now; I was about to explode. Before I made it out of the castle door I decided to mind link my Beta.

“I’m taking a run; I’ve got to clear my mind. Let me know if anything comes up.”

“Yes sir, her mom is in here with her now.” I took off my shirt and pants tied them around my ankle, then shifted into Hunter. He was fighting the same battles in his mind as I was, however he was happy to be out to stretch his legs. We ran for a while, then we stopped by a near creek that was blue as crystals. Hunter decided to give me control again, until we was ready to go back in the meantime I decided to call my parents. The phone rang a few times, and my mom answered chipper as ever.

“Hey Baby! We missed you! You’re on speaker phone so your father can talk to you too!”

“Mom, Dad I need you to go to my office and close the door. I have a few things to discuss with you both.”

“Okay dear, give us just a moment we will let you know when we are ready.” After what sounded like they both were sprinting to my office, and a loud banging noise my dad spoke up.

“Okay son, We are in the office with the door closed and locked. Go ahead.”

“Dad, Mom I found my mate.”

“See I told you it was him that found his mate! Oh sweetie when will you be coming back! We are so excited to meet her!” My mom said sounding over the moon about hearing the news.

“I don’t know. There has been a few complications here at BlueMoon Pack. Mom, Dad I don’t know what to do anymore.”

“Son, tell us everything; we will figure it out together.” I began explaining everything that happened to Danielle to me meeting her, how she’s a human, how I found her unconscious and severely hurt, and finally how Alpha Dylan hasn’t done anything to the crazed wolf, but confronted me about how I may have hurt her. There was silence for quite sometime. I could tell my mom was flabbergasted, and pissed at what has happened over the last few days, and my dad was probably thinking everything over with a fine tooth comb like he typically does. Finally my Dad finally spoke up.

“You want to meet with the Elders don’t you.”

“Yes” I said sternly.

“But I cannot travel right now with her being in critical condition.”

“What if you could?” My dad said with a slight bit of hope in his voice.

“What are you thinking Dad?”

“Well I have a idea.” He said.

“Dad, you are a genius! Put the plan in motion right away! I’ll be here waiting. Oh and Mom, Dad thank you so much!” I said to both of them before hanging up the phone. Finally Hunter and I are finally having a slight bit of luck. Now it’s only a waiting game. Once I hung up the phone, I quickly put my clothes back around my ankle, and Hunter took control. Before we could leave, my Beta mind linked me.

“Sir, he is here, Conner is here trying to come in the room to see her. Come quick.”
