Annie felt her husband reach for her and pull her against him. Laying her cheek on his bare chest, she allowed herself to succumb to Chloe’s warmth. As Lord Duvatt wished them well and excused himself, Vadon hurried over to give his brother a congratulatory hug.
Chloe kissed both Rion and Annie. “I need to finish tending to Annie’s back. Vadon, there should be a roll of bandages in same cabinet where you found Rion’s patches. Annie, would you please get back on the table?”
