Crashing and Burning

POOL PARTY

-Oh my god! Yes!- Ally screamed as she came all over Gus´s mouth.

He smiled between her legs. His eyes looking at her intently. He pushed himself over her body closing on her face and kissing her delicately. Her juices dripping from his mouth, Ally tasting herself on his lips.

-C´mon!- He announced suddenly pulling up and throwing her a towel- let´s take a bath, we´re gonna be late.

-Late for what? – Ally said flabbergasted, her legs still trembling from the orgasm – Where are we going?

-Pool Party- He grinned- The guys and I wanted to make the best out of the few summer days left before the weather starts getting chilly and we´ve rented a pool house in the city outskirts for the weekend… Hurry up, Hurry up!- He said spanking her playfully.

Ally froze. Spending a whole weekend with a bunch of his friends… that sounded kind of serious. No thanks.

-I don´t know Gus, I don´t even have a bathing suit with me, I think I´ll pass- She said starting to fish around the bed for her clothes- You have fun and I´ll see you when you get back

-Nonsense! – He climbed onto her- I already texted Christie and she´s bringing you a spare suit. So, no excuses, now hop on the shower girl

Ally remained sprawled on the bed, her eyes filled with uncertainty

-C´mon Ally… Live a little, do it for me- He chimed looking at her with his adorable puppy eyes.

-Oh, for fuck´s sake! Ok, ok

-Yeah!- He kissed her cheek- It´s gonna be awesome!

Ally took a deep breath as she watched him giddily walk to the bathroom. “Oh God, what have I gotten myself into?” She silently thought before standing up and following him.

An hour and a half later they were on the road. A humongous cooler filled with beer cans to the brim lying on the box of Gus´s truck and plenty of snacks in a big carrier bag.

Gus drove while singing along with Johnny Cash on the radio. A smile on his lips, his voice deep and clear. He sometimes stole a glance towards her, or so Ally thought. She could feel his gaze behind his sunglasses, but pretended to be more interested on the views outside her window.

They reached a very secluded area. The road started to narrow, all Ally could see were trees and a lot of vegetation everywhere. Suddenly, the path widened again and there in the middle of a beautiful field, stood an enormous white house.

Some other vehicles were already parked around and Gus found a spot near the entrance. They got off the truck and Ally made sure to grab the snacks. Gus carried the cooler effortlessly and they walked to the building. Metal music was already blasting from a speaker and people were scattered all over a few tables positioned near the pool.

Ally spotted Gus´s bandmates and their girls… and of course, a bunch other people she didn´t know. “Great”.

-Hi guys!- Gus cheered putting the cooler on the floor- This is Ally everyone-He said hugging her sideways

Ally waved timidly to all of them. Some waved, some simply said Hi, and that was it.

-Hey girl!- She heard from behind her and before she could turn to face the voice Ally was engulfed in a hug. Obviously, it was Christie- Nice to see you again, glad you could make it! Come! I brought you some bathing suit options, let´s try them on you!

Ally shot a worried look to Gus as she was being abducted. Gus simply smiled widely at her.

Christie continued her babbling while dragging her to a bathroom inside the house and holding a backpack strapped on her shoulder. She shoved Ally inside the spacious room and handed her the bag

-Here try them all on! Let´s see how you look in them- Christie giggled while clapping.

Ally unzipped the backpack and extracted five different bathing suits. A pink bikini -No f*****g way- she whispered- a very bright green one- Hell No!- A yellow one piece which she liked the cut, but not the color, a red halter one piece and a black bikini.

She tried on the red one first, it fit her well and she liked that it was not that reveling of her imperfections and the rolls on her waist. Sighing she opened the door to show it to Christie, who was sitting in a couch nearby.

-Mhmm- She muttered while scratching her chin- I don´t hate it per say… but I think you should up your game girl! Go try the black one on

-I don´t know, that one is a bikini – Ally reasoned- I think I will be more comfortable in a single piece

-C´mon girl, just try it on! It is a vintage cut and it will look perfect with your type of body. I promise! – She ushered Ally back into the bathroom and closed the door into her face.

Taking a deep breath, she undressed once again and put the bikini on. She looked at her image in the mirror and was pleasantly surprised, Christie was right! The high waist cut made wonders to fit her butt and stomach making her look kind of like a pin up girl.

She opened the door again blushing a little as she let Christie inspect her looks, covering her belly with her arm and feeling a little self-conscious

-You look stunning! – Christie clapped laughing proudly- I knew it... You´re gonna drive Gus crazy- She giggled grabbing her by the arm and dragging her outside.

-We´re not together, Gus and I- Ally uttered

-Yeah, yeah, you´ve already said so… And yet you keep coming back

Ally didn´t reply

They made their way to where Gus was, talking to Saul and Oliver. He continued chatting with them but his eyes scanned her deeply as she approached them and she could feel his gaze burning through her skin.

He was already wearing a dark blue long swimming trunk. He´d kept his black tank shirt on and he looked sexy, his curls in a ponytail, sunglasses on… so carefree and happy.

-Hey- She whispered when she got to his side. Christie finally letting her hand go out of her clutch.

Gus pulled her to him in a side hug absentmindedly and then went to kiss her forehead -Want a beer? – He offered bending towards the cooler by his feet

-Yeah, sure

He handed her a can and she popped it open chugging it. “God, it´s such a hot day!” She thought “God…HE is hot”

She gulped another sip of her beer while eyeing him discretely as he talked about a pair of new songs the band seemed to be working on. She downed her can and went to grab another one.

-Take it easy princess, we´ve got all weekend to finish those- Gus winked at her

-I know… I´m just thirsty- she said taking another sip

-Wanna take a dip in the pool? – He said reaching for her hand- it will cool you up, c´mon.

She took his hand and he led her to the massive pool. A few guys and girls Ally didn´t recognize were already in there having fun. They jumped in unceremoniously and the cold water pricked Ally´s skin. At first the sensation shocked her a bit, but soon enough she found it pleasantly refreshing and started enjoying it.

They grabbed their beers from the edge of the pool and found a quiet spot by the stairs. They sat there for a long time, chatting and drinking. His hands massaging her back, trailing their way down her waist.

-You look gorgeous today- He said kissing her forehead

-Thanks- she became silent, not knowing what else to say- …I´m getting another beer, I´ll bring you one too- she said breaking his embrace and heading out of the pool.

Thankfully by the time she came back most of the people including Gus´s friends had jumped into the water and a volleyball game was beginning. Gus was playing too, so Ally sat at the edge of the pool dipping her feet and watching them. She drank her beer, then downed the one she´d brought for Gus and sighed at the view.

It was really late now and most of the people were lying scattered around sleeping after a long day drinking. Only Ally, Gus and Saul remained sitting near a bonfire chatting and sipping on more beer. Ally felt a little tipsy but she didn´t want to go to bed just yet.

Saul looked sadly at the flames while he drank slowly from his bottle

-What is it man? – Gus asked patting his back- You´ve been in a somber mood all day

-Well- Saul took a drag from his cigarette- I bumped into Jill yesterday… and her husband… and her pregnant belly.

Ally remained quiet not wanting to interfere in such a private moment. She considered leaving but she did not want to attract attention to herself

-I´m sorry man- Gus hugged him briefly

A silent tear rolled down Saul´s cheek – I don´t know man, I thought I was doing better, that maybe I was finally moving on. But seeing her again was just like getting punched in the gut.

-I know buddy, I know- Gus cooed patting his back - And you know we´re all here for you

Ally couldn´t stand it any longer and something compelled her to get up. Both Gus and Saul turning their heads to her. She walked up slowly to Saul until she was facing him

-I´m gonna give you a hug, ok? - She murmured, instantly wrapping her arms around him and hugging the breath out of him.

She held him for a whole minute before making her way to where her almost finished beer sat. She downed it swiftly. Gus and Saul staring at her quietly.

-Ok, I´m going to bed- She announced.

The rest of the weekend passed in a blur and soon Ally was climbing to Gus´s truck again, waving goodbye to everyone. She felt kind of sad. They were all great people, all so easy going. She liked them and she could imagine herself being friends with all these wonderful people. That scared her.
