Chapter 2
Two-night stand~
OLIVIA
"Hands on the headboard and don't let it go until I say—" Whack "I said, do not let it go, love."
"I'm sorry, I'm just....wait—"

"Earth to Olivia!" I jumped as Bella slammed the pedal on the table slab, her eyes suspiciously eyeing me as a mother hen would.
"What?" I questioned, pushing the pedal away from my coffee cup.
"Do you have something to tell me, Olivia? Cause I think you do." She raised her brow.
Of course, I have something to tell her, but I don't want to tell her that at the moment.
"I don't. If I do, you'll know, right?"
"Okay. I gave you time, plenty of it, to tell me what happened last week Friday, but since you won't talk... I'm going to have to push it out of you." Bella said, and I sighed, watching men and women run down the lane.
"So, you got a pass into Valentine. You didn't go back home that night, and the next morning, you called in sick and didn't come out for exercise day, and you're sure nothing happened?"
"I...."
"Olivia Benedict Hayes! You better tell me what happened while I'm asking —"
"I slept with a guy!" I half-yelled out.
Silence reigned for a few minutes, until Bella sat down across the table.
"You did? Was he handsome? Did you feel good?"
"Oh, my god." I covered my face, embarrassed that I said that out loud and even more so, as Bella isn't even embarrassed, as she asked me all these in public, with people seated at the other table.
The next thing she'll be asking is if he actually did put it in.
Oh, he did. Plenty of time throughout the night. The man was a beast, and he made sure I knew that.
"It was a beautiful night, Bella," I answered truthfully, cause it was.
One of the worst days that eventually became one of the best days of my life.
She smiled.
"I'm happy for you. Did you get his number?"
And this was the worst part.
I didn't even get to know his name.
"You're kidding, right? You got his number?"
"No, I didn't. Everything happened so fast and we just, we didn't even need words all through the night cause we were—"
"Busy f*****g like rabbits that you didn't think the first thing after a hot night was to get his number." Bella chided.
"Well, he didn't ask for mine. And he looked rich; I bet those rich guys would never see a woman twice." I said with an eye roll.
It was the truth.
Whoever that was, he was rich. His three-piece suit and his Rolex wristwatch spoke volumes.
"I know what to do," Bella said, and I sighed again, not trusting the wicked smile plastered on her face.

We were back at Valentine, but this time Bella and I were together.
I took a seat, and the bartender, Ted, was on duty today as well.
The room seemed packed like last time. Friday nights were the perfect night for fun.
"I might as well meet my own prince charming tonight," Bella said, winking at Ted, who smiled and left us.
"I'm not sure this is a good idea, Bella. He might not even recognise me, and besides, it was a one-night stand. One-night stands are not supposed to meet each other again." I tried talking her out of this madness.
Maybe I was also talking myself out of this madness, cause why did I agree to this?
'Because you were dying to see him.' The voices in my head whispered.
"Hello, love." I heard a very familiar husky voice say, and I froze, glass halfway to my lips.
"He...hello." I stuttered, dropping the glass.
He chuckles. "You do love Vodka." He gestured to my glass.
A cough to my right broke our gaze, and I turned to see Bella grinning.
"Hello there, I'm Isabella Kim." She said, and they both shook hands.
"Hello." He nodded and turned back to me.
Bella stood, her bag in hand.
"Well, I just got a call from my man. See you later." She kissed my cheek and left.
She doesn't have a man. Isabella Kim is as single as I am.
I turned back to the man who had become my very unforgettable one-night stand.
"I made a mistake last week." He began, and I felt something inside me tightened as he called what we had a mistake.
"What? I...I don't understand, I thought —"
"My name is Bartholomew, but close friends call me Bart, and I've made five mistakes in life. But the biggest mistake I made last week was not telling you my name." He said.
I waited, my eyes wide open as he took a step closer.
"And the second was not hearing you screa
m my name as I f**k you into oblivion."
