Two weeks later
Deidra finally accepted my request for a date. It was time for me to convince her I make time for what I want and the people who matter. I was having dinner with Dee at Mason’s, a new vegan Italian restaurant that just opened.
She was wearing a light blue deep-plunging V-neck dress. Her hair was pulled up in a high ponytail, showing off her stunning cheekbones to perfection.
