If Ever

If ever you see me blue

Please act like you have no clue

Don't comfort this broken heart

For it may continue seeking your heart.

Your heart that was once my property

Now, she's holding it so dearly

I desperately want it back

You won't, it might get cracked.

If ever I feel alone

Don't come, I'm fine on my own

Don't wanna get used to your company

For it is only temporary.

With her, you chose to stay

A promise you're quick to obey

You said, she deserves your love

Someone as lovely as a dove.

If ever I'm about to cry

Please close your eyes

So you won't see me hurting

And won't see these tears falling.

The bucket of tears I cried for you

Look, it comes in different hue

Happiness, sadness, regret and pain

Things that kept my heart in chain.

If ever I let go of your hand

Continue, walk, don't just stand

Baby, you won't be alone

You're holding hers all along.

Your grip to mine isn't tight anymore

Opposite from what you once swore

Aren't her hands warmer than mine?

Baby, trust me, you'll be fine.

If ever I disappear

Don't look for me, don't fear

For I may have gone far away

By your side, I no longer want to stay.

Your heart is now happy with her

I'm no longer needed in the picture

Don't worry, I will be okay
