Chapter 18The rest of the evening had been awkward. After Moira’s big Sunday dinner, neither Justin nor Bailey was very hungry when supper time came around, so they both worked on assignments for the next day. About ten o’clock, they had cocoa and some cookies that Moira had sent back with them. Conversation was desultory at best. Justin was elated, but he was also sensitive to how difficult it must have been for Bailey to realize he had such strong feelings for another man. With that in mind, he resolved not to push things, not to do anything that would send Bailey running.
