As with every book, there are certain people without whom my job would have been a lot more difficult. I’d especially like to thank my long-suffering cover designer, Dan Main, who has put up with my ever-changing mind, my uncertainties, and my inability to say “Yes! That’s the one.” Despite being of Welsh heritage he has continued to listen to my complaints and has come up with a cover which I absolutely love.
I’d also like to thank my proofreading team of Gary Rutland, Frank Russel, and Phillip J. Coggan for pointing out all those silly little mistakes that eluded even three readings of the manuscript, and especially Mark Bolam who took it to another level and patiently ploughed through my lifelong misuse of semi-colons.
