Alarics POV

My thoughts were paused after I heard what they just said. The two Alphas names they mentioned were none other than Alaric and Ryan. So they were here too?

I needed to understand what was going on and it seemed like these women were going to be of great help to me. I stood up and walked towards them and they all stopped staring at me.

I also wondered why they were here and caught by the rogues but the only person to give me the answers to my questions was them.

“Did you just mention Alaric and Ryan being here?” I asked out loud as they first stared at me like I was some sort of weird alien who didn’t know what she was saying.

“Yes? Why?” One of them finally answered.

“I’m with them, I know them, personally, for them to have been captured, that means the rogues are more dangerous than I had proclaimed,” I muttered under my breath but it was loud enough for them to hear.

“I don’t know why you're here but we can’t stay here and we’re going to leave here as soon as possible.” They said forming a circle and I went in the middle.

“I also want to leave here and help Ryan and Alaric while I’m at it so we can help ourselves, I think I know enough about the rogues, and that'll help us during our escape,” I said eagerly.

I was so eager to see Alaric and Ryan and ask them what was going on, how did they manage to get caught too? What were the rogues trying to do by bringing them here?

I felt they would have killed them there but bringing them here meant they were planning something big, bigger than we imagined.

“How do we even know that we can trust you? We don’t even know you.” One of them blurted out.

“I know her, I’ve seen her around the Alphas before so I’m sure she knows them, and besides if she does anything funny, we all would be caught and killed.”

“So what do we do? How did you guys even get here to begin with?”

“We are spies from an association and we won't have been in this position but one of us made a mistake which cost us all our cover and here we are but we won’t be in here for long, on our way here, that was when we saw the Alphas being dragged into a room.”

My heart skipped as I already thought it was the worst that could happen. I wasn’t going to leave here without them because I knew they would do the same.

“Can you recollect where you saw them being taken too?”

“You’re not planning on going to save them are you?” She asked sarcastically.

“They wouldn't leave me if I was in the same situation so yes, I am going after them,” I said sternly.

“Okay, suit yourself.”

“There’s more we found out about the rogues..” one of them muttered, staring at the others for a go-ahead if they could trust me by letting me go on with their plans.

“What else did you find out?”

“They are producing a drug, a very powerful drug which would be able to render anyone that’s against them powerless. We don’t know about the origin of the drugs yet but we know it’s very dangerous and if they succeed with it, taking over every other Pack won’t be an issue to them.” She said and the whole room fell silent as I processed everything I just heard.

“So we have a plan, we have planned this for quite a while and we are sure that nothing will go wrong. Once we have achieved what we want, the rogues would be rendered powerless and all their killing sprees would finally be over and they’ll be given what they deserve. And it’s going to be very easy for us.”

“How?” I asked curiously.

“Most of the rogues that are supposed to be on the out front have been summoned leaving the security there very weak and that would be our chance to escape.”

I felt a feeling of warmth around these women. They didn’t even know me like that and they told me all about their plans and it was a very warm feeling.

“And if you’re caught?”

“We’re spies, we’re never caught, and if we are, it’s for the greater good.”

I was very envious of these women who were willing to give their lives to make sure everyone was at peace. And I was willing to help them to an extent because I also had Alaric and Ryan I needed to save.

“I’m going to help you guys, we are all in this together,” I said and they smiled.

“We would help you in any way you can and I hope you and your Alphas would get to safety because if the rogues manipulate them, it’ll be a threat to other packs if their territories are being controlled.”

“That would never happen, Alaric and Ryan would never give in even in the face of death. I just need to get them out and make sure we all get to safety.”

“Now that we are all on the same page, this is the plan…”

I was impressed by the intellect of these women because they were able to think through any given situation and work on what they had. And their plan sounded promising enough.

We waited for the first phase of our plan and one of the women caught a small rat so easily that she brought out a small knife and killed the rat. She brought out the blood and intestines all over her stomach.

The first phase of the plan was complete and it was time for my act. I immediately started running around the room and shouting at the top of my lungs.

“Someone just killed herself, someone just commutes suicide here!” I yelled continuously to draw attention.
