CHAPTER 27PEGGY’S CONTRIBUTION
After a quiet, pleasant dinner with the other members of the Skylines crew, Peggy spent an exciting hour with reporters and photographers in the sunroom at the end of the hospital corridor.
She told the story from the beginning, minimizing her amazing accomplishment with her characteristic modesty. She gave full credit, too, to the Dallas ground radio operator who had assisted her in bringing down the plane.
