Episode 3 THE INSIDER FOUNDATION

Oh my God, you aren’t joking, right? It was emotional for everyone. Molly was screaming happiness. I’m sure her lungs hurt. How long have you known this Ruit!

Why didn't you take a break from work? Work has been hell for the past few weeks as the project was to be inaugurated and made official, plus the grand opening, various programs were to be launched and open interviews with the press and world. Everyone was off and very busy, late on work nights. Then, especially, Ruit, who is carrying my godchild.. Don't forget about that, now nothing can go wrong now. Everyone is busy looking and smiling seeing me create a scene. Only then did I realize it was excessive joy and nothing less short of it. It was an ecstatic feeling. Today was great. It was lunch time and everyone had something yummy. Ruit was overfed, till she complained about her belly hurting. No one was taking a chance. Molly was the happiest of us all. Consequently, times she was spotted trying to rub and listen to heartbeats. She was overwhelmed. We visited the beachside and watched the sun go down in an exquisite view, then we walked down and left for the six-hour night camp, with fancy tents and a drum night of highlife too.

At the airport where we had all taken our seats and fastened our belts, after two hours the plane landed and everyone was heading home. This time Melvin and I would see each other more frequently and that was interesting. After those beautiful moments, moments of laughter, joy, happiness, extra. These were no ordinary moments. This for me was a new beginning and even for Molly and we all had a crowning peace and it came with benefits, the scar of self-hate, misfortune, damage and Cine’s untimely and cruel death and the painful and odd events that occurred. This was fortune.

It was a few days away. At Molly’s fundraiser event and the organisers of this event were on it. Cards and invites were already out, distributed, flyers and magazines, billboards. Ad’s, TV Ads and Radio Ad’s. It was going to be a huge empowerment scheme, most especially for girls in poor communities. It featured several programmes with the main events, many ambassadors from across the globe were interested. Melvin’s influence could be perceived from a far distance. This was thoughtful and coming from the view that he, himself, passed through depression and it was a show of concern, a great one, in that he was a divorcee and I a widow who both passed through tough times. There was a safe online space for sharing and counselling, an E-learning program about how these situations would be managed, fought and defeated. All this happened because of Molly, her idea of help was about to change the lives of many positively. It will be a huge success seeing different minds, minsters and individuals of the larger societies coming and sending in resources. Molly’s event featured a TV show/ programme called the GIRL TALK SHOW which would be starring many icons, pro-female consultants and many individuals from around the globe. This event made a difference and it was so clear it brought world partners who made deals and partnerships. Melvin gave 15% of the deal made, which was a huge sum of resources to the foundation. This was going to be the birth of the INSIDER FOUNDATION, which featured depression, girlhood outreach and scholarships.

Finally, the day had come. The official and welcome speech started at Ten O’clock AM. Many individuals were already present. The turn up was indeed massive. The committee presented the officials, a platform for nations of collaboration, positions and the volunteer program/teams. Individuals joined the online platform. The donations were highly received motions and pledges. It was a wide recognition as different brands and world communities were present and contributing to the foundation immensely. This landmark was made and will be highly recognised over time. Speeches were presented and papers of ownership and collaboration were presented also. The day had come to an end. It was a great day and all went exactly as planned and, even more, a beautiful day for the beginning of a great change.
