Ariella's POV I squared my shoulders, grabbed my pad, and headed out the door. Fine. Up I go. ‘Another day in paradise,’ I thought sarcastically. My body was fully healed by the time we made it past the massive lounge area. This pack house was insane compared to the structures in Dawn’s Creek. Dawn’s Creek wasn’t poor. It just wasn’t polished. The town had grown the way wildflowers did…naturally, unevenly, without anyone obsessing over symmetry. The buildings were modern enough…concrete foundations, large windows, solar panels on a few rooftops…but nothing matched.
