Lunch with Allen came to an automatic end after his revelation. I hurried to my room and remained indoors all day, crying for most of the time.
Allen had not even returned because he wanted revenge on me, he wanted me to be his mate. The only way I was going to make it up to him was to marry him.
He had decided that that was the only compensation I could give to him for giving his camp to his brother, after knowing very well that his uncle had the kingdom.
While this could have been no problem for me at all, things were not the same anymore.
I couldn't bring myself to be as attracted to him as I was at the camp. I couldn't feel the spark in my heart anymore.
