"Ouch!" Allen groaned in pain, as I tried to dab the blood off his arms and legs. Alpha Jones's men had ruthlessly run over him, and it was a miracle that he hadn't died in that collision. Allen and his men were not sure how to react to this situation at all. They couldn't be mad, since they weren't sure what exactly had driven Alpha Jones away from the pack, but they definitely couldn't be pleased. "If anything, he should have reached out to me," Allen complained, as I tried to help him, while some of the men were trying to catch up with Alpha Jones. "I'm sure he will come back," I tried to make the situation better. "Maybe he had an emergency call and had to leave in a hurry," I said. "An emergency call?" Allen was perplexed. He kept quiet for a while, very lost in thoughts.
