Allen?" I tapped him to wake up. I, myself, had woken up very confused. Allen and I scrolled through page after page of every book he owned, but hadn't made so much progress, establishing his claims of my being a mermaid. Since Allen was so sure, we didn't relent in searching and eventually, we both slept off, hours later. I had no idea how long we were asleep for, as I equally had no idea of how long we were flipping through pages, but considering the dark sky, I was guessing both exercises took us almost an entire day.
