Ellie's POV
"Relax," Kate responded softly.
"I know you were not faking," she said, "even now, you're genuinely confused, but you don't have to be,"
Kate was so calm and nice, and it was more disturbing than comforting.
She walked to the door and peered through, checking the hallway.
"What is happening?" I probed.
"That was not water from the Aqua cave," she said to me, pointing at the bottle she came in with.
"Was it not?" I expressed my surprise.
"No," she sighed.
"Allen is not the same person," the sadness in her voice was evidently from a heart of despair.
"Tell me about it," I responded in sarcasm. We could all see that he had changed so much, and he didn't care at all.
