I couldn't understand why Kate was mad at me for a ceremony I had been hidden inside to avoid.
If she couldn't do anything about it while spending the last three days with Allen, why did she think I was going to be able to change anything in twenty-four hours?
Kate spent the next twenty-four hours in her room and did not leave to attend to anything.
I, on the other hand, spent the entire time trying to get Daniel to have a conversation with me and hopefully arrive at a solution, but made no headway with that.
Daniel was being very unbearable and would not see me. The couple of times he left his chambers, he was in the company of guards and I couldn't come close, based on his instructions.
