Ellie's POV The chamber was confining and stifled every breath. The decor was sterile and forbidding as a result of the monotonous, uninteresting gray finish on the walls. Imprisoned was a single bed with an extremely thin mattress and an old tattered sheet spread across it. Light found its way through a small window on the wall, but it was extremely placed up and overly small to consider any escape through it. At the distant end, there was a metal tray in a casement which seemed designed for serving food. Desperately pushing against the door with her weight, Ellie tumbled onto the bed before the door fit into the frame. Ellie's wrists were sore from the cuffs.
