Eve It was a bright afternoon, and I’d gone shopping for groceries for the boys. I stepped out of the car, scanning my list as I headed into the supermarket. I was at the snack section, reaching for cookies, when a figure in a black hoodie darted around the corner of the next aisle, head down. My hand froze mid-air.
